I've recently got into Chewjitsu videos. Haven't seen this one yet.

I was just starting to become aware of my poor breathing. I did find myself using my guard/body triangle(one of the pros of long legs) to rest when I was winded, so that's good to know.
Having been off a month I'll be utilizing that technique again.

Lo is the man. I used videos of him (and the Mendes bros) to teach my kids to pass with gi grips.

Not sure of you guys have seen this many times over already or not but I'm posting anyways. All week we've been working guard pass and my coach said to watch this guy for the gold standard. Incredible how he has so much success with relatively simple techniques.

You should look at his bottom sweeping game too. Similar to his top game in the sense that the sweeps are simple and effective.

I model a lot of my game around Lo. I do feel that his passing suits longer people better but even short guys can certainly use his techniques

He doesnt use a lot of stacked pressure passes from what I can recall, except for the last time he faced Keenan. He managed to stack and pass him.

Can you or anyone else recommend some guys who are known for their take downs? OreferaPre videos of actual matches or highlights over instructional .

Check out Eberth Santos, he's got some amazing takedowns..... Jacare does too if you want to look at his run.

The crazy thing is that you'll see a LOT of guard pulling in tournaments these days, but if you youtube great BJJ takedowns, you'll see some amazing work

Not really a technique video but some interesting insight and I'm too lazy to make a new thread.

Im finding the body triangle presenting itself more often as I'm getting backs now. What's the dangers? Best to avoid getting used to it before higher level guys burn me or is it a safe form of control?

Great for control, especially in MMA grappling or CJJ.... However it can slow you down on transitions if you're attacking anything other than a RNC or lapel choke. (I have fallen in love with kimura trap control into armbars, shoulder locks, or triangles from the back... It slows down those attacks, especially if your opponent is on your legs).

What's the danger I put myself in? In the tourney the guy was trying to do some shit with his legs to put pressure on me but it didn't work. A guy in our club was giving me the "it'll only work for so long" look when I was controling my partner last night but I didn't inquire.

I feel ya on the Kimura trap. Anything Kimura related seems to be my early go to so I'd love to hear some set ups anything else to put it to use.
