"Good stoppage by the ref. When a fighter is striking from the bottom it means they don't have an escape."

Ummm, ok, so fights should be stopped when the guy on the bottom is throwing punches?
When he's mounted, yes

shogun is legit crazy
not doing it for money or fame or anything other than just loving to compete on professional prizefights
he is less than 50% the athlete he was 10 years ago but he could beat the hell out of almost all LHW's on the planet...fights the biggest guys in his division while being probably the smallest guy as far as lean body mass

right hand of doom did it again...the tattooed dude knew he was fighting a cyborg and he knew it was coming....boom goes the right

missed the Hunt fight, how did he look?
Like someone who was counting down the seconds until the end of his contract, and couldn't wait for it to come to an end.
No damage sustained or given from either fighter.

Agree with you here, he was throwing from the bottom and not taking significant damage...

I’d let him stay in that position until he is obviously rocked or he can escape or till the round ends.

I didn’t care for the stoppage

*Its rare but fighters have knocked out guys from the bottom while being mounted.

Uriah Hall was the only guy I ever saw do that, it was some freak shit from a freak athlete, never saw it before or again

tough to fight a guy whos running away the whole time. im sorry, backing away side to side and throwing JUST enough jabs to get the D! Hunt was at least trying to get the guy to fight. Man was no one else watching this fight? hunt was literally chasing him! I was getting so pissed off. LOL at that being a game plan. If the paln was to lose all your fans and have nobody want to see you fight again he got it.

looked like he would have had a good fight if the other guy would actually fight for a second instead of backing away. hunt always brings it and is always ready to throw down. he got tired chasing the guy all over the octagon. tho. sure looked like hunt was ready to call ufc quits, but we would have had a fight if willis would have fought.

Eh it looked like Hunt would have kicked his butt if Hunt had better footwork - looked like he opened up an old injury on his leg right away and that might have affected him. Otherwise when he decided to throw he was quick, just couldn't land without footwork to support it imo. Plus Willis was running so. Yeah I like the callout of Willis by Tuivasa. Should be the next all-fight pass aussie card.
