to fight the one guy Dana thought was going to knock him out and T Wood

He fought 3 months ago and before he tore his shoulder he fought 4 times
within a 1 year period making him literally one of the most active Champions
on the roster.

He sure fights alot of #1 contenders often for a guy that doesnt wanna fight. LOL

I may not always like watching Tyron's fights but we grew up not too far away from each other (He's from Ferguson, I'm from Dellwood) and bitch asses like Dana who talk shit on other people aren't taken too well where we're from. Dana would get rag dolled and pissed on at Bon Oak Park.

Here's the thing. Regardless of Dana being a complete asshole.

No one who knows anything about MMA honestly believes that Woodley is the best welterweight on the planet. About half of the people who know a lot about MMA don't think he's the best welterweight in his own camp. Woodley's fights and his general behavior since winning the title have done nothing to make him look like a world beater.

I understand where you’re coming from, and personally, I can’t stand Woodley, but Dana defended Conor like he was the son of god when he wouldn’t defend the belt(s) for years at a time. He plays favourites like his life depends on it and his mouth ejaculates whatever rhetoric he can think of in order to ascertain a favourable public opinion for the UFC.

Tyron has a provable point here and Dana’s past behaviour paints a perfectly clear picture of the situation.

yeah - but Conor was making LOTS of money for UFC in that year of not fighting. Probably more money than Tyron will make for the company in the entire time he works for UFC.

I've hurt both my thumbs at different points in time from boxing. Sucks. The first time it kept hurting for 3 years because the torn cartilage didn't grow together correctly. (that's 3 fucking years. pain intensity maybe 10%) Still cracks and pops today after 10years but no problems.

Second thumb I knew the problems and let it heal up by itself, no boxing or anything like that. Grappling would have been completely out of the picture. After 1 year zero pain. Now both my thums crackle and pop, yay

Who knows what thumb problems Woodley has ... Still, I think that if he hadn't been bitching about everything so many times then the UFC would be more lenient & forgiving. Fans are only on his side because Dana...ja, ... because Dana is Dana.

Woodley should get a written doctor's evaluation as a backup and then go to the UFC performance institute center and have his rehab in coordination with those guys. They will tell Dana whether he's ready.

Dana is Dana, of course ...... but still I get irritated about Woodley everytime he talks about his championship stuff (he wants money fights, hes a victim, this n that).
When he talks about MMA in general, as in technical observations and so forth he's level headed, knows a lot and seems to really say things straight as he's seeing them. But with him as Champion I don't find Welterweight as intriguing as before. He's a great fighter but the bitching don't help.

I want to make sure I understand exactly what you’re saying here. The way I read your post it seems that you believe it doesn’t matter how often a champion defends his belt, the only way Dana should respect the champions of each division is if they are able to make the UFC a lot of money.

If Woodley's hand is injured and he wants the proper amount of time to recover and prepare then that's an intelligent thing to do. How is that even questionable?
Weird expectations from some people. And I don't even like Woodley.
