That thing looks like it would be a lot of fun.

Only available with a v6. That's strange, since their Cherokee line still offers the 5.7 hemi.

Only has a 5' bed, so a little short on the capacity of your typical pickup truck. And with the longer wheelbase, it's not as functional as a Jeep when it comes to off-road capabilities. But few people use their pickups as trucks anyway, and even fewer use their Jeeps as true off-road vehicles.

Cars are far too expensive.

Just because they now allow you to finance a car over a decade doesn't make it ok.

Wake up.

I will say this tho. I had one of them grand Cherokee as a rental before (the nice one)

My second favorite rental car ever. I considered buying one I liked that car so much. It's only second because I liked the noise a Dodge Challenger makes. In the last week I've had a quick glance for used Jeep's. Luckily they are expensive over here, so I don't have to fold

So you're proposing bicycles?
I find it amazing that while other services are limited on the time frames and amounts they can finance for, cars are continually allowed to give out or "finance" higher loan prices over longer periods of time.

Allowing people to finance cars for 8 to 10 years is insane. By the time you get from under the car you're paying for repair work on top of the monthly fee.

If you sell earlier you are rolling negative equity into a new debt that is essentially like a mortgage for your car.

No thanks.

So, there are some flaws in your logic, but before I bother exploring those. What's your alternative to having a car?

Because I think cars don't need to be that expensive?

Agreed. The upsell has become nuts and while the entry has become lower for many, the longer loan periods have lead to increasing overall purchase price on average and longer/larger debt and interest.

GM CEO Barra had compensation of $21.96M in 2017. General Motors Chairman and CEO Mary Barra had total compensation in 2017 of $21.96 million. The figure represents a decline from her 2016 compensation of$22.58 million.

Well trained mechanics hate Jeep and Chrysler. Just sayin.

Looking at the gladiator vs it's competitors, it really offers a pretty good package. Good towing in a much better interior than others. but for the reason you said I have no plans to own Jeep Chrysler.
