they thought jones would be able to piss clean by fight time. when it was clearly not happening they had to make this public
They were brought in to do that. Part of their job is also figuring out who acted in bad faith and who didn't. They were not brought in to drag every person who pops through the mud. They are brought in to be impartial. Being that that is the case, it would make sense that they don't immediately convict every positive test.USADA was brought in to clean up the sport and weed out the cheaters. Now we have to sit through 100 different excuses as to why performance enhancing drugs were found in Jon's system -- again. The whole thing is one giant contradiction.
Either make it zero tolerance, or let them juice to the gills.
i would like to see what lance armstrong has to say about this
I admire the concept, but in practice it allows cheats to slip through the crack. Jon wasn't even the first one to use the tainted dick pill excuse. And Novitsky just confirmed they weren't able to determine the source from his failed test in 2017.They were brought in to do that. ^ Not a defense of Jones, just a comment on the idea that the only way to be impartial is to come out here and say why Jon might be guilty.
Before USADA we never had cluster fucks like this.it has to be fair across the board not special rules for different people while others get thrown under the bus
I said it earlier, but I would rather a cheater get away with it than an innocent person get in trouble.I admire the concept, but in practice it allows cheats to slip through the crack. If anything, Jon should be suspended until a proper investigation plays out.
Stay tuned for the finale to this interview.novitzky might as well just suck jons cock at this point
Not everyone. Insane people. It's like pretending that Barry Bonds was only one of the best hitters of all time because of steroids, completely ignoring the skills, and the fact that steroids were rampant when both of their careers began. I know that PEDs help you a lot; I am not denying that, but denying Jones' immense talent is equally as crazy, in my opinion.Everyone will think anyone who loses to him lost because of PEDs and if he loses it won't be a victory since everyone will think Jon was off the juice so he wasn't as good. Who really wants to see him fight at this point?
Gotta disagree. Not insane people. Most people will think it.Not everyone. Insane people. Fair point, but the answer is super simple. When the sample is collected you also give them samples of every supplement you take. Every supplement. If you piss got the first thing they do is test your supplements. If your supplements are tainted we can talk. If you “forget” to give them all your supplements, fuck off. Waiting until after the fact and claiming tainted supplements is a ridiculous excuse that cheaters are using time and time again. I’m sick of hearing the bullshit. In theory, the way this is laid out is intended to be fair across the board, with room allowed for context. Believe it or not, tainted supplements actually exist. I am not saying Jones specifically or the majority of tainted supplement excuses are legit, but we can't set up a system that will take peoples' livelihood without allowing room for investigation and context. That's one of the more complicated parts of this. I would rather a dirty guy get away with it than a clean guy lose 2 years of his career.
I doYeah, blame Nevada for not rushing this through.
This is pretty bad. The press needs to go after them and hold the UFC/USADA
He came into camp weighing 638lbs.He’s been cutting weight since August?
Yeah, perhaps I exaggerated. I wouldn’t call them insane, but I would disagree with them.Gotta disagree. Not insane people. Most people will think it.
