Started in 2007 when my friends moved to it from WoW, played until 2009 when they quit. Started back up a few days ago.

For those unfamiliar with the game it is a MMO, but much more complex (and harder) than any other.

You play videogames by yourself? Or does your wife play too. Or you play against ppl online? I could never get into videogames. I used to play Halo and racing games w my ex laying in bed. But I never got into playing them alone.

This is an MMO. there are 20 to 30k people online playing at any one time. Some asshole just blew up one of my ships when I took a risk traveling and did not avoid a low security zone like I should of. Oh, and then he blew up my escape pod so I will have to replace all the implants i had on my clone. Game came be rough because if I do not have the money to replace that ship or the implants then I just have to do without.

If you reach the points where you have no money or ships to make money you can be pretty fucked.

Wife is not into these kinds of games. she is more of a "movie and scrabble against the computer on her tablet" kind of person.

lol no. that is more of a first person shooter kind of thing. I dont have a headset but people doing more complex things normally do.

I used to play this online game called Diablo. You could advance into the game and use a portal for quick entry to different levels. Anyone could use those portals, so you could advance to a level that your character wasn't quite ready for.

I hacked myself to be invincible, then I advanced to the final level and put a portal back to level 1. I typed messages to people to come through the portal to pick up a sword I couldn't carry. They'd come through and they'd find themselves in the middle of 500+ demons who killed them instantly. The amount of curse words I got hurled at me was endless. That shit was a lot of fun. I'd laugh until I had tears in my eyes.

On the flip side of this, when I started Diablo I'd jump thru the portal to the cow level and minesweep all the shit the tough players diddnt wanna pick up. Good times.

diablo is pretty old school, i think i was playing Everquest around then.
