No one has to tell him shit. Nobody had to tell me to stfu when my psychotic CEO would make fucking insane and sometimes evil decisions. You kinda know not to bite the hand that feeds you. Joe knows he has to address it and he knows wtf is up (cause he is openly juicing) and he knows to not fuck around with his paymasters. This is how it is done. You don't have to tell anyone anything... They just know not to stir shit or else...
If he is shilling for the UFC it’s not for money.

He makes more from his podcast in a month than the UFC pays him for a yearly salary (rough estimates are between 20-40k a podcast in advertisements and in any given month he has a minimum of 6 and sometimes up to 20).

Either he has his mind set upon Jon not cheating or Danus had a talk with him.

Danus and Joe have been close friends forever, and Joe has said many times that once BLAF goes, he’s done with the UFC. I could see him spitting UFC rhetoric out of friendship, but i just can’t see how he would do it for money.

The Joye Diaz episode was the first episodes Joe started shilling for Bones. Diaz kind of questioned it, but Joe went hard into it. Manic almost. A huge dissapointment as a longtime listener, but I guess we all take sides some times. Hard to keep it real after that though. Bones is not good for one's reputation for sure. It's cancer to it actually.
Every single sponsor Jon has had agrees

Its damn hard to be in the Bones business. Many have tried
and all have failed

Joe rarely bucks the power structures. He went to bat for Amy Schumer re: being a joke thief, even though the evidence was worse than what Mencia did and he crucified Carlos. If schumer wasn't Chuck's niece Joe kills her.....

Well if you were a bank employee of any note and you thought you could get away with it, actually you probably would push that line. It depends on the situtation.

The best thing for the UFC is exactly what Rogan has done - push a narrative that Jones is reckless rather than a deliberate cheat.

You can keep believing that Rogan is more likely to not be influenced by his employer in any of his opinions about said employer's conduct in regards to key interests, while the rest of us will carry on living in the real world.
We are arguing different things. I told you I was specifically speaking about the UFC putting pressure on him. It's not that he isn't biased.

Btw I have been criticized for alleging conspiracy talk in a thread where someone just suggested that Joe Rogan didn't go after Amy Schumer because her second cousin is Chuck Schumer.

EDIT: Amy Schumer's father is Chuck Schumer's second cousin.

You said multiple times that you think it's his honest opinion and I didn't use the term 'bias', I used the term 'influenced' - he is under pressure, whether it's direct or indirect by virtue of working for them. Joe knows professional fighters and has been in the game for years, uses steroids himself and is not a complete fucking retard. You're frankly insulting his intelligence if you think he actually thinks Jones has never knowingly taken PEDs.

Biased and honest aren't mutually exclusive.

And also, I think Joe is pretty intelligent. He does frequently show a flawed thought process though. He lives within the bubble of his own mind quite often, which is interesting considering the fact that he does seem to enjoy speaking to people about what they think. We are all contradictions of ourselves at one point or another. Things are rarely black and white, including the topic we are discussing.

I yearn for the day where there's an MMA thread that doesn't involve ridiculous accusations alleging that someone who disagrees with the accuser was handed a bag of money in a back alley at some point.

I listened to the podcast, and frankly, neither of them really understand the points that they're arguing. Sometimes people are just incorrect about things. That doesn't have to be conspired about.
You'd be shilling real hard if you were offered a lifetime supply of dick pills

I'm happy to end on this note: either I'm right and Joe is a lying piece of shit, or you're right and he's a fucking spastic.

I'm cool with people holding either opinion of him.

Hard for me to say anything negative about Hogan. However, it is really frustrating that he keeps pushing the same narrative and defending Jon at every turn instead of saying maybe he did do something wrong. I can't bring myself to believe that after years of brutal honesty Rogan would start telling all out lies because the UFC or Dana asked him too. He doesn't need the money so I can't imagine they bribed him. I think where I lean right now is that Joe has probably smoked with Jones many times and considers him to be a friend. Jon is obviously a liar and probably told Joe he didn't do anything wrong. Joe, being a man of integrity, believes him and is now trying to find logic in an illogical scenario.

This thread is funny shit.

Joe Rogan has been riding JBJ's dick forever. He's a fan, and trying to find any excuse he can not to have his favorite fighter toppled. He's had champions and coaches explain to him that JBJ isn't the GOAT. He agrees (because there's no counterpoints) and then runs it up the flagpole at the next possible opportunity. People are looking for malice where stupidity will suffice.
