Can we all admit that Werdum got lucky against Cain?

He's just lucky that decades of training, game planning and conditioning that was all used to prepare for a specific fight played out as he and his team expected. Talk about one in a million.
Put your money where your mouth is, flappy.

$100 says Cain takes the rematch

I think Cain has been the best HW over the last 5 years or more; JDS should have been the best hw over that same time frame but allows Cain to alpha him for whatever f'd up reason. Hats off to Cain for that though, I hope he stays 100% healthy throughout the remainder of his career- he always comes off as genuine and disciplined.

Miocic can strike on the backfoot though.....and Cain does get hit.....

Miocic won't be able to stop the TD and Cain isn't going to rush forward with his hands down like Werdum and his "improved striking"

I hope you're right, it would be a disappointing fight otherwise.
I like Stipe. It would not be fun watching him lose to Cain. But Cain would win that fight. Just a better all-around fighter.

I'm glad Cain gets a chance to show that the Werdum loss was a fluke though

Werdum was the worst stylistic matchup for Cain possible.
I said before the fight exactly how it'd go down.
Ngannou was a better matchup, but I still called Francis with the KO.
Cain was a product of some good stuff at the right time, but he was good *without it* not great.
He's a sloppy boxer.
His tenacity and determination was unparalleled for a window in time that was relatively short.
The smart thing for him now would be to juice up, try to look great, win the fight, get his dough, get popped, it gets turned into a NC and he serves his one year suspension for NSAC & pays fine, then keeps doing it until retirement because his injuries will equate to his suspension absences but he'll be making his fans happy & family money. He's got 3-4 more fights.
It's not "right", but it's how it is.
Ladies 'n gentlemen welcome to the Cheata' era.

Again.

Since beating Cain, Werdum has gotten knocked out after running face-first towards his opponent and then decisioned a guy in less impressive fashion than his first decision win against the same opponent.

Meanwhile since Cain lost in that debacle at 18,000 feet, he has destroyed a guy in one round, that guy being the same guy Werdum couldn't finish two different times.

Cain beats Werdum 999,999 times out of a million. I doubt Werdum will ever be elite enough to earn a fight with Cain again (as Cain will win his belt back in his next bout), but should they fight, Cain will send Fabricio into early retirement, guaranteed.

Cain is the HW GOAT and that honestly can't even be disputed

The only time Werdum got lucky is when he threw a boomerang at GOATvington and didnt get slapped by the GOAT
but that same boomerang came around from Sydney and knocked him out in London . Has he waked up yet?
