Jorge Masvidal would have no issue fighting for the UFC welterweight title before his teammate and friend Colby Covington.

With his knockout win over Darren Till on Saturday in the UFC London main event, Masvidal is the closest he has ever been to fighting for the 170-pound title. Till was No. 3 in the division going into the bout, while Masvidal was No. 11.

Masvidal, however, trains with Covington, whom UFC president Dana White has already deemed next for new champ Kamaru Usman, at American Top Team in south Florida. That could make things interesting, but Masvidal said if offered to him, he would jump at the…

I first became aware of Masvidal after her beat Steve Berger in a Bodog fight. I was training at Berger’s gym at the time. I’ve been a fan of Masvidal ever since, even though I really liked Berger. Fuck, that was a long time ago, Masvidal has been doing this for a really long time.

And he was fighting in back yards for years before that. Jorge's a savage but I dont think he'll ever win a UFC title. Just not well rounded enough IMO.

"If I eat junk food I tend to burn it off by training hard, and that’s the difference. I’m a big McDonalds and Burger King fan. If it wasn’t for my weight I’d be eating that stuff all day long. It keeps my weight up but performance-wise, I feel great. I’d eat a double quarter-pounder with Big Mac sauce and go and kick anybody’s ass. Until I was 23 or 24 I used to live off junk food. It was funny because when I fought Ray the first time, I was actually halfway through the McDonalds drive-thru when I got the call offering the scrap. I ate half my burger, then I was good to go. And I finished the other half of my burger following the fight."

also used to eat brownies with ice cream for breakfast lulz...

I had some cable package and at night late I would find Bodog on some obscure channel...some of the coolest MMA I have seen
the lady would just put in ear plugs and I would watch late as I could stay up and catch the rest on a VHS recording the next day.
Loved the scenery and setting
