UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw announced on Instagram Wednesday he has voluntarily relinquished his title after being flagged by the USADA and the NYSAC for an “adverse finding” following his fight with Henry Cejudo in January.

"To all my fans, I wanted to be the first one to let you know that USADA and the NYSAC have informed me of an adverse finding in a test taken for my last fight. While words can't even begin to express how disappointed I am at this time, please know that I'm working with my team to understand what has occurred and how to resolve this situation as quickly as possible. Out of fairness and respect to the rest of my division, I've informed the UFC that I'll be voluntarily relinquishing my title while I deal with this matter. I want to thank all of you in advance for the support."

Dillashaw lost to Cejudo in January in his attempt to capture a second UFC title, this one in the flyweight division. The 33-year-old won the bantamweight belt in November 2017, defeating then-champion Cody Garbrandt, before successfully defending the title against Garbrandt in August 2018.

Dillashaw has a professional record of 17-4-0.

I remember Cody G alluded to TJ showing everyone how to properly cycle when he was on JRE prior to their 1st bout ...

TJ was recently on the JRE not to long ago and everything he said regarding nutrition working out is bullshit now that we know how he really got his Gains!

Nobody should take nutritional advice from Juicers like TJ, Rogan, The Rock, Jon Jones Because it’s all an Illusion

Not necessarily. Juice is just one piece of the whole jigsaw. Your nutrition needs to be on point, and so does your training. I knew a kid in college who used every fucking steroid under the sun and man he looked so bad its not even funny. SO BAD. We used to all lift together and he trained like dog shit and ate the same as he trained. You need to put it all together.

For sure if someone is taking Juice they are going to have to put in the work to see the gains, no doubt about it.

But for overall real health - I feel the Athelete has to maintain good healthy eating and get his energy from the natural foods he eats while putting in the work day after day ...the real power gained from natural training/foods outweighs the synthetic gains one gets from getting Juiced to the DillaTits.

Just my thoughts ..and if one is trying to get a sculpted physique of course the juicy juice would help on the short term..but when it wears off you are screwed

I think you are confused as to what AAS does and the different types of androgens and anabolics but you can be very healthy on these things if done correctly and monitored. Sure it gives you a clear cut advantage no doubt about that, but if you look at most steroid users they are very conscious of their health, they have to be.

I can vouch for this. Was around it all thru my 20’s. Steroids are only wonder drugs if you’re putting in the other work.

No one voluntarily gives up their title unless they know they’re mega fucked.
That was my initial reaction too. Sounds like he’s anticipating being out for a year or two.

The fellas over at TAM are going to have a heyday with this

Wonder which excuse or accidental ingestion story his team will come up with.
