Did you follow this conversation? Someone claimed above that Trump passed more legislation than anyone against gun ownership even though he's thought to be pro-gun. That is the claim you're defending or trying to elaborate on as you're talking to me since you inserted yourself into the replies. Obviously that's not accurate. So who is the person who came into this discussion fixated on something?
I was pointing out that everything you cited in the statement I quoted was incomplete or inaccurate.

Deaths from Massacres in the 12 years before Port Arthur Massacre in Australia: 79

At which point Australia, an island of essentially homogeneous population, enacts the strictest firearms controls in the developed world.

Deaths from Massacres in the 12 years after Port Arthur Massacre in Australia: 120
Where did you pull this shit from?

We taking a lot of gun loans and getting gun insurance too?
He made a really stupid point (as he often does when he moves the goal post in arguments) about karasu's post. I was just correcting him.

I decided to expand your range a little.

Port Arthur 1996

We are 22 years since then and there's data on that page until the latter part of 2018. So let's go that far on both sides...

96 deaths before

117 deaths after

Obviously deaths dont' tell the whole story but it is interesting.
lol.

my arithmetic is retarded.

You won't get approved for a loan or for auto insurance (required in all U.S. states) without a driver's license.
which of those is right under the Constitution?

Let's remember that the Founding Fathers were OK with privately owned warships (privateering), so I don't think 'rate of musket fire' or 'musket capacity' would have changed their statement about the right of the people to arm themselves against the state.

Lol you did 12 years because you thought it was 12 years ago???

That's all good. I can't wrap my head that we are almost 20 from 2000 either.

the 2nd Amendment is very clear in its purpose and bounds.

if you want to restrict the right of the free man to defend himself with military small arms, you'll need to live somewhere else.
Appeal to emotion fallacy

Only soldiers fighting wars need guns Imo. The problem is so many people have guns now and will not hand them over that's your fucked. I've discovered since being back in England that I can get guns here too. I figured they only had air rifles but if I tick the right boxes I'll have an AR-15 no problem. Think I might actually
