Don’t mean to get all in my feelings, but when work is stressing me or when that PTSD rears it’s ugly head, I always remember it’s about these small moments and there’s two little people that are counting on me...

Hey- that kind of looks like lake Homeslice. Do you have a bunch of aquariums with redneck filters by any chance?

Awesome pics. My little one has lost interest the past couple years, but taking her fishing was always amazing. I miss those days. Make sure to cherish them all because they grow up quickly.

OP I have a 20 something in my family that graduated from MIT. You would see what your son looks like at that age. Doppelganger. I mean it's scary. I showed his mother your sons pic and even she agreed.

He’s insanely smart. I know most parents say that, but he actually amazes me at some of the things he learns and how fast he learns them. He gets in trouble in class because he finishes before everyone and starts talking. They’re testing him for gifted next week and he’s reading at 4th grade level in 1st grade.

He watched me work a spinner bait and then I tied this little road runner spinner on his and he mimicked me and caught the fish. I was like wtf dude

I still can’t get him to tie his shoes tight enough though.

Our guy was a math genius. Won state comp. and all that. Also got picked on as the smart kid. He’s making 6 figures now at Google right out of school. Good luck to your boy.

Rated this winner before the fish picture came up (assumed instrument). But bass fish still deserves winner.
