I have no doubt that under proper monitoring and doctor supervision that steroids can be quite healthy...not sure early MMA guys were playing it safe or smart though

I actually didn't bring up the steroids or blame them but. the amounts Coleman and Kerr were taking, combined with the extracurricular activities they were involved in, are not good for long life.
I'm in no way saying that his insane health problems (he has almost died multiple times in the last 5 years) or Mark Kerr's or Don Frye's, were caused directly by steroids, but they damn sure didn't help.

For all the Coleman fights I have seen, he forever has my respect for the Shogun fight. He held his own and/but got beaten up, especially by the end and the fight got stopped with what 25 seconds to go or something like that. Post fight he got outrageingly mad (but in a mad way, not an aggressive way) in that he didn't kniw and/or his corner didn't shout it out loudly enough that there were only 30seconds left and that he would have tried to tough it out until the end. Forever champion attitude that is!

The name calling was like me saying that to a friend not really calling anyone stupid. Meaning roids won’t break you down but Marks lifestyle and training and rev drug use def would. Don’t forget every single one of these drugs were developed for a medical purpose. They are literally all wonder drugs and the benefits are great. The side effects once abused is great as well. So what does that tell you? Use but do not abuse. Problem there is no one knows how to not abuse themselves and they all go overboard. I do not take drugs but I also haha no issue with them, so when I prep guys who are using drugs I just make sure they are doing it the right/safe way and get bloods done every 4 weeks during and I also insist on bloods for at least one year prior while clean.
