I always thought the Yank thing about Dingoes was weird. 'Dingo ate my baby LOL'.

A dingo did legitimately eat a woman's baby and then she was falsely tried, convicted and imprisoned for her own baby's murder and it took decades to clear her name. Pretty much the darkest shit you could think of.
