I been gassed but not tasered. Is it something you can get used to and become immune?

The police one we used had Different settings.
Stun and incapacitate or something like that
Fighting thru being pepper sprayed was more interesting training though

The one we had was just one of the those hand held ones, not one of the ones that fires probes - they look pretty nasty.
When my dad was in the Air Force they had to sit inside a cabin while they pumped CS gas into it during basic training. He said the only good thing about it was that his squad went first and the others to watch, so although it sucked they got to laugh at the other squads, all shitting themselves at what they just saw.
Yep. A friend had one of the hand held ones and we would mess with it(the dumb shit we did as young men). Never been tased with the probe shooting kind.

I was basically doingLEO training...I was the guy who volunteered for the tazer hooks...one hooked part of my nipple...dropped me instantly...everybody laughed
We were fake fighting and tazing and pepper spraying each other ...was pretty fun except when recovering from pepper spray, that shit is hardcore
Cs gas is what riot police use. I been got with it about 6 times. 5 in military. One by riot police. It ain't so bad if you know what it is. Creates havoc for folks who don't know what it is
Haven’t been tasered myself, but about 15 years ago or so I was standing right next to my brother when he got tasered by a cop. The one that shoots out the probes attached to the wires, he still has the “snake bite” scars. He somehow went limp and stiff at the same time - like when you see someone take a nasty lover kick in MMA. Muscles clenched but legs went out. He didn’t do enough to earn the taser IMO, but it was pretty effective

What was your fist time being exposed to CS Gas like?
The way my dad tells it is that they were all told they had to go into the cabin, but not why. Once inside they were told the room is going to be filled with gas (they weren't told what type) and that they should see how long they can their breaths for, but not to worry as they were being issued gas masks. So room is filled with gas and they are sitting there holding their breaths, of course the gas masks didn't have filters on them (officers having a laugh probably), so the first person to give up takes a massive inhale which causes him panic as his lungs are filled with CS gas. This causes the rest of them to freak out, and they all start banging on windows and the door to be let out. Once the officers open the door everyone piles out, gasping for air, eyes streaming and some men vomiting.
But once it was all over they got to laugh at the squad going in next, who were fully bricking it at that point as they'd just witnessed what went down with my dads group. One of the guys was refusing orders to go in, so as punishment the entire squad was ordered to do laps, so they were already gasping for breath before they went in
I've been tazered. The last time was because someone called 999 because they thought I was carrying a knife. It was a bloody radio. Made me fall over. Good to see the police doing their job properly?!
