Dont hate the player, hate the game.
Ok?
I like Jon Fitch as a person.
He's kind, intellectual, and deserving of the mma hof for his contributions to the
sport.
He truly is a great guy.
At least I've chatted with him long enough to know that, so know that you're right, in that, it's "the game", at least under unified/semi-unified rules, that does need further evaluation.
Remember this "game" started with the word "Ultimate".
But the "game" has been, like boxing, re-defined for the almighty dollar.
So what you perceive as slights at Jon Fitch, don't.
I've been vocal enough light-heartedly for that understanding to be legit.
But my dislike is most certainly driven by the fact that I'm an old-school purist.
I
appreciate cage generalship, I don't necessarily enjoy paying for it when it comes at the expense of what I view as the better man's career, or my dollar spent.
