No legs to handle the long stretch in Cincinnati
Do you think Chris Sale will sniff the 7th inning today or is he going to continue pitching BP? Opponents are batting .298 against him so far this year.

He’s a prick anyway
I haven’t watched a single inning this year
It’s probably a confidence thing with him?

He's usually a mid-90s fourseamer. He's been as high as 100 mph earlier in his career.
The last game I watched, most of his fastballs were in the low 90s or high 80s.

I think something is wrong with him. Losing over 5 mph on your heater is a big deal.

Maybe he’s cutting shirts up in a part time role?

By the way, mysticmac @mysticmac ... Cashman is looking like a bit of a genius for not throwing tons of cash at Machado thanks to the production that we're getting out of Urshela.

I turned on MLB Central this morning to see Tatis Jr. stretching like a first baseman catching a ball. But as he was stretching the ball came high. Dude was doing the splits lol. I haven't checked but the kid might have pulled his groin a bit. I hate seeing injuries but it cracked me up. Sorry to any SD fans..

Cards outfield is ridiculous right now. Ozuna is finally hitting, Bader could be a Cards Hall of Famer if he stays healthy and Martinez hits enough to negate any lack of defense. Hopefully Fowler keeps hitting so we can trade him for pitching help for the stretch run.

Ozuna is already in the Cards HOF for that epic fail in LF the other day.

Goldschmidt will for sure be in. He is exactly the type of player the city embraces and stays. I think Bader will be in for the long haul as well. I am just worried that guys luke Oneill will get shuffled because of the logjam in the outfield.

Think they'll put Molina in there? Or do they have standards?

Yankees are red hot with their B-team. Cashman really turned the organization's direction around. I am just glad they aren't trying to field the most famous team of old dudes anymore.

You would be a Cardinals fan.

This is the ultimate test- Trade Trout for Molina right now. Straight up. Would you do it?
Not a fucking chance. Trout is not a winner. His teams barely make 500. He is better than Bryce but even with one of the highest payrolls he still cant win.

Guys like Molina lead their teams. Look at the pitchers Yadi makes better. Cards havent had a losing record since since 2007 and thats only time simce he has been a starter. He has won 2 World Series and been ther 4 times.

Trout has led his teams to 4 losing seasons since he has been in the league despite the team having one of the top payrolls every year.

I am sure you will take numbers over winning because losers like you dont know what winning is. Trout is going to end up as the Dan Marino of MLB.

Bench is the man but he played on a stacked team. Other that Pujols how many HOFers has Yadi played with?
Rolen? Edmonds? Holiday? Carpenter? Larry Fucking Walker? ;)

Cardinals have had plenty of great players during Molina's career. He's always had a great team around him. Not Big Red Machine great, but certainly not a group of guys that held him back.

Firstly, I am a Yankees fan. I am rather familiar with winning.

Baseball teams can't win baseball games with one player. One person "being a winner" doesn't mean jack shit when the rest of the team is garbage. This isn't basketball.

The team has a high payroll (much lower than the Cardinals' payroll btw) because they are tied up in bad contracts, mostly Albert Pujols' contract. It's not that they have a bunch of good players and because their best player (the best player in baseball) "isn't a winner", they lose. That's a very ridiculous assertion.
