I got rid of my air compressor and air tools. Not that I would use it much but I was drooling over the Makita impact wrench since I'm all in with the Makita platform after leaving Dewalt years ago. I guess my GF saw me looking at tool porn and surprised me with this bundle of joy. It's very heavy and probably has the best specs out of the big 3.

Makita really made a booming comeback in the cordless department since the 80's.
Their stuff is top-notch, lightweight, lasts, and super sharp; love it.

I'm on the Milwaukee platform myself.

Only problem I have with makita is that it can be fragile sometimes

The only problem I had which I don't think is the drills fault, I had to install automatic blinds in a concrete ceiling. This was a middle of the road hammerdrill but it worked perfectly fine. Probably close to 30 holes overhead. My drill got caked with concrete dust. I got it halfway apart and I forgot why but I ended up just taking the L and dropped it off at Makita. They cleaned the entire thing out for $7 as good as new. I'm seeing a pattern here but GF for Xmas bought me their flagship hammerdrill XPH07 and 5amp batts. This thing can break your wrist if you aren't careful. I keep the old one at our weekend place where the autoblinds are. Other than that no issues. Dewalt was another matter. I went through chucks and switches. When the batteries went I switched to Makita and gave my Default stuff to a friend. #makitaforlyfe

I have a Bosch 1/2 corded hammerdrill. Great drill and they are known for the corded stuff. Haven’t heard much about their cordless stuff. It’s not that popular in the U.S.
Yeah I have one of their corded hammer drills and think it's the tits, other than that I have a Makita cordless gun and then some other Euro-brand items. The Makita impressed the heck out of me though.

You ever watch a Youtube guy sick biker? He also has a Polish channel. My kids former BJJ coach’s husband happens to be Joanna’s striking coach.

They’re great tools for sure, I have never broken a Makita tool myself just seen lots of guys do it on job sites. Stupid shit like saw guards breaking and palm sanders just falling apart. Definitely nicer than most dewalt shit

I like some of the new 60v dewalt stuff doe

I moved. I had this custom made and shipped down. I miss it. You could stand next to it and talk on the phone.

I have California Air Tools compressor. 2HP motor, 10g tank, super quiet.

i wouldn't use it to run all day, but it gets the job done for my impact wrenches/grinders/sprayers/etc in the garage.

I'm looking for a wheeled vert. What's the CFM? Mine was around 21-23. I needed it to sandblast my floor and never ended up doing it. I also had a blasting cabinet. I loved using that. Most of the HF stuff is between 2-4 CFM . It's hard to go to that from a 21.
