I actually did a quick study of one of Galt's photos lol

I thought it was funny but it was a nude and not very appetizing. I posted it somewhere here but maybe better not post again
What's wrong with stabbed backs and chaffed dicks?
You're disappointing bro .

Is this one single?

Looks like a fertile Sinead O’Connor who knows how to use a bo staff. We would make magic together.

So every Tuesday I try to get out to draw live nude models.

For $10 I get 3 hours + complimentary wine and sometimes this hippy lady brings cookies. Pretty good deal.

Its super fun and meditative, plus as a professional storyboard artist it seriously sharpens the skills and makes me faster/better.

Most of these are 5 - 20 minutes, 20 minutes being the longest poses they do there. We start with 1 minute, 2 minute, 5's, 10's, 15's and finish each session with 3 20's.

Anyone else here into drawing? I also teach on Saturdays, I'm getting pretty good at explaining and teaching anatomy if anyone here is interested.

A few questions...

If you get a hot model, does anyone ever let out a slow, high pitched whistle when she drops her robe?

Ever banged one of the models?

Ever make prolonged eye contact with the models.

Do the models request to see your drawings?

Boner city - population you?

You got talents dude. Nice work.
No, lol no whistles. That would be funny though :D There are some elderly gentlemen however that sometimes make inappropriate comments during breaks. Those old dudes have no filters. Still figuring out of this is a fault or a quality

No. I am loyally married. Yes the wife knows I go and does not have a problem with it.

No but I have gotten to know a few models, its weird. I used to host sessions at a different place so got to know a few, gave them rides home etc. Another has some mutual friends so we have been at parties and have gone after class to smoke weed a few times. Another once started telling me all her life's problems, we talked for a bit and she started texting me lol. This all may sound interesting but I prefer now to keep distance from them, I don't want to get to know them I'm just there to draw I don't need drama.

Yes lots. They love it. Most of them are passive attention whores.

Not since animation school with the chick who would walk around in her robe and tease us, lol. Truly, its a very different state of mind I've long learned to separate the novelty.

Great! Finally lol

I would love to do more comic work but I hear pay is shit. Do you still draw in any capacity? Were you trained anywhere or self taught? What sort of comics?

I love talking shop but I work freelance from home don't have too many to chat with. Forums surprisingly too seem to be void of a lot of artists, its weird.

I only recently broke out my pencils again (because of a check I met who also draws - go figure), but damn..... I'm rusty as hell. My old stuff is pretty damn good if I do say so myself. But yes, the life of a freelance artist is a lonely one indeed.

I was mostly self taught, but I took classes in college to shore up my skills. I did a bunch of independent comics, but my "big break"was apprenticing at Image comics for a little while.
