Hey lovely people. I know how much you like my threads, so here's a new one. What is your highest grade, or a conventional martial art. And do you feel you deserve this? Also have you ever been attacked in the street, and if so, how did you react?
For me, i'm a yellow belt, at least i was when i last graded, in Aikido. Which is a precious martial art, hell they all are.
The last time I got jumped was in the street, a few years ago. I chased the mugger, and got my Chinese yin yang balls back.
I actually chased him down the street, dropped him with a guillotine, and then let him pick himself up, and run away with my wallet. I was able to cancel the cards, and the bank refunded the money he took using contactless. I don't regret dropping him, because he shouldn't have mugged me.
But you know, that 'fight' well, I am pleased the i was able to fight back...
People who say you need years of multi discipline training, to prepare for a street fight, are simply wrong. Awareness, strength and discipline.
