They should have let him jump overboard. Drowning in the middle of the ocean would be a pretty horrible death.
yup he would have assuredly drowned, dehydrated to death or eaten by sharks.

he should have hit her with a step ladder she would have said "have mercy" and then could share a laugh.

And then bribe her kids in to a school a solid B+ student with famous parents could get into!

cruise ship made a worker photograph the murder scene

Crew Member Sues Following Murder Photos - Bernews

Murder guy is trying to plea out. By the updates there was no known domestic violence. He was drunk and went crazy and killed her.

Attorneys for Utah man aim to avoid trial in cruise ship murder case

Now this is a very interesting case.
Princess cruise lines punched back with an arbiters clause.
He's South African, the Princess is a flagged Caribbean vessel with murder in international waters.
Maritime law favors the Princess, and the federal courts should be exempted from the whole proceedings.
It would set a crazy precedent for the worker to get flogged, but arbitrators would settle high and he'd accept likely, as federal court has no jurisdiction.
I don't think he hired top-notch lawyers; if he did, their first order of business would be actually reading the contract, & understanding the nature of maritime law, which is a particular "club" that treads no moral high ground, and could collaborate to bury him at the bottom of the sea.
Perhaps that's why he filed suit federally(protection), but that doesn't help bring you back to life, nor does it favor ports to close to that level of income.
I hope he gets a tidy sum and lives on.
This will be an historically important case.

It's funny how often you blame text-to-speech for your fuck-ups
I literally post 90% by voice when I'm on mobile.

Wrong words without typos are usually voice. You can Tell when I corrected her I'm on desktop because there's typos more often.

This is a post in which I have not corrected the obvious typos while typing by speech. Weird capitals and some voice recognition issues. Google fails grammar if I pause for too long and it can't figure out if I've started a new sentence or continue the previous one, even without punctuation.
