Spent the day riding snowmobiles in northern Utah. Weather was great and plenty of fresh snow. Climbed a trail that took up to a peak of over 9 thousand feet elevation.

That’s awesome man! I’ve spent a lot of time/vacations mountain biking all over Utah. It is a magical place. So many spots where the scenery is just absolutely stunning.

Have fun!

Thanks bro. Utah is gorgeous. Never knew.
Utah is kind of unassuming like that...until you go and see it! It’s a great state for all things outdoors - mountain biking, moto, off roading, hunting/fishing, kayaking, and the list goes on. There is something special about those red rocks. Until I started visiting Utah, I had no idea that you can achieve some real elevation in places too. So much awesomeness in UT, and a pretty good variety across the state.

My mountain biking crew does a Moab trip every fall, and it is something I greatly anticipate every year.

Speaking of beautiful “red rock”....made a day trip up to Sedona with my wife and son today (we’ve been in PHX for a couple days visiting some family). Another beautiful place with lots of awesome outdoor stuff to do, and another place I love to mountain bike.

Today we did a little hiking, and then took the boy on a “Pink Jeep” off road tour. Twas a good day :)

Love Sedona. Spent a day there before we hit the Grand Canyon.

Gonna enjoy the North West for a couple of days. In Portland today and Seattle tomorrow. Probably hit some parks. I'll update with a few pics later.

Saw this flying in last night. Might be Mt. St. Helens... not sure?

Bingo!

The pictures were taken in Parksville, the beach in front of Tigh-Na-Mara.
Whoa, you're from the Island??

That's awesome. My favorite place in the world. I was born in Campbell River. Been to many smaller islands and beaches around there, the tides are legendary, they go out so far. Go hunt for crabs and stuff
(no sex jokes please)

Been living here about 15 years now.

A few of us on the forums are from the island.

I havent been out on the water much around Campbell River. More water time around Nanaimo & out island and then Comox Valley, Tofino and Bamfield. Lucky enough, the brother in law is an avid fisherman so we get out on the water often for fresh Salmon, prawns, crabs, halibut, tuna... and rock fish if its been a slow day and we want some dinner

Northern BC... A city often referred to as the asshole of BC.

Moved down here for university and never looked back.

Where you at these days?
LOL Where is the asshole of BC?? I know the province well, been everywhere. I used to live in PG. Is that the asshole?? lolol

I'm in Ontario. I came here to do something with my life, because if I had stayed in BC I would have just been a snowboard bum or Island stoner.
But every time I go back to the Island I wonder what I'm doing here. Its so beautiful there, my Dad and brother live in Victoria.
