I remember this shit. I can't believe my dumbass our self loved the ultimate warrior so much. Guy fucking sucked. Was a great moment tho.
When you are a kid the stuff they do in the ring is very impressionable. I hated flair when he won the rumble. I was terrified of the undertaker.

We all loved he Ultimate Warrior despite hearing all the hate he gets from fellow Wrestlers of that era.
Warrior juiced to the tits bringing that high energy.
I followed him during he 90’s when he changed his legal name to “Warrior” and had his own website, his website was just like his WWF promo’s / interviews ....bat shit crazy! Lots and lots of weird ramblings / notes.
Either way Warriors WWF run in the early 90’s was fantastic - thought he would have made a huge impact when he signed with the WCW but that didn’t turn out.
Eric Bischoff who now has a podcast where he rewatches old events then discusses his thought process during that time...he recently covered trying to sign the Ultimate Warrior:

I like the Ultimate Warrior at the time too but in retrospect when you look at it he definitely sucked
I actually went to a wrestle mania back in the day at MSG iirc or somewhere in New York and witnessed the ultimate warrior in person
Then, because on of our friends didn’t show we sold the ticket and some drunk guy came and sat in his paid for scalped ticket and got in argument with one of our friends fathers and it went on a bit with the drunk guy standing his ground in the argument as he was whooping and hollering
Something worked out in the end as they were shaking hands mid way through and the arguing stopped
And of course, I was scared because I never wrestled so was in fear of my life

Was big fan of the Ultimate Warrior, enjoyed him wrecking dudes like the Hulk, MachoKing, the Demolitions with the help of LOD and Texas Tornado the interim champ.
