But I grill them at home, I rarely order steak at restaurants...so I usually buy big hunks of meat for leftovers
Some people call it top sirloin, but that seems like a broad term. You could just ask for a porterhouse, then you essentially have the ny strip on one side a d filet mignon on the other. Nice piece of steak there. I love grilling my steaks over charcoal briquettes and mesquite wood.And they turned out awesome. Kosher salt and cracked pepper seasoning on both sides. Let them sit for 10 minutes. Threw them on hot coals for 2 min each side, and then put them on indirect heat for about 5 min.
Perfectly done and taste.
