I hvac taped up my new body then got drunk and took it out late last night in a parking lot down the street. needless to say I had a wee bit of a tumble at full throttle. There is something about being drunk and just wanting to be at full throttle 100% of the time.
Those pics are better. That looks like it will be a blast.I also gotta fix some steering parts that broke.
Lol. I'm now inspired to wrapped my Slash body in foil tape once I get a new one. Keep it for bash days at the skate park.

I do it to all my bodies so they last longer. It's especially good for road rash on pavement. I go with three layers on the topside, then single layers in wheel wells where tires rub and body mount holes. After you get a bit of rash and the body is exposed, you just remove it, wipe off the residue with alcohol, then reapply.

I had to run to hobby store. 10 minutes into disassembly I notice the front ends 4wd housing had broken too. Just added at least an hour to this.
That sucks. My slash is on the shelf because my rear housing melted due to the slipper clutch being too loose. It melted so bad that that the housing plastic coated the slipper clutch plate and the bearing between the slipper and rear diff seized. The truck was smoking so bad that I thought I blew something up. And the smell! Dear lord does that stink.Nice lil tip there, thanks.

holy shit dudeI broke down and bought the x-maxx today. Holy shit is this thing huge! You see it 8n pictures or on video aND you kniw it's big, but when I opened the box I was actually in shock. Fuck massive!

Look at the difference in just tire size, and that little guy is a truck!
I was trying to figure out something to scale it with so people could see how massive just the wheels and tires are. That shoe is a 10.5 US.

I have it sitting in my living room on the floor. Every time I walk by it I smile because it's so ridiculous in size. The pictures do it zero justice. I've been watching videos on this thing for a long time and when I took it out of the box I was still in shock. One week later and I still can't believe the size.

Saves the body from road rash, so it lasts longer. 50mph slides melt holes in the bodies pretty quickly.

Ripped the senton around, but now it's raining. The xmaxx is waterproof, but it's just too expensive to fuck around with in these conditions, let alone me standing out in the rain.
For the slash's rear diff cleaned up, greased, new casing on, new slipper clutch, then the badlands monster 2.8 tires installed along with the monster body mounts. The badlands make the stock tires look homosexual! So badass. Stock tires on senton vs badlands 2.8's on the slash.
I'm painting the new body right now, so I can't tear shit up with the new tires right now. It's killing me.
