eddie and sage thought they were getting big money for easy fights in asian . one fc isnt RIZIN .they dont build up stars by feeding them cans.they have a lot of solid fighters that most westerners have never heard of. one has been quietly building themselves up for years . the only problem is it is near impossible to watch in the west but the west isnt really their market anyways
Eddie wasn’t given a free pass for his fights in Dream,

I don’t think that he believed One would be easy money but they offered a better deal than the UFC and he trusted in his abilities and experience to give him an advantage.

The description says that Sage threw a jab and got countered with an overhand right. That punch was a sloppy left hook not a jab. Both of his hands were at his chest, his feet were planted and his chin was up in the air.

I like Sage, he seems like a respectful kid that is adeptly using his physical assets to not only be media friendly but to secure sponsorships and social media income.

That being said, I think if he wants to be a fighter he needs to ignore all of that shit, get away from his family and train with a camp that who doesn’t give a flying fuck how dreamy he looks and can teach him how to fight.

Could you imagine the ratings Sage could get if he turned heel and could back it up?

Sage Diaz would be a superstar.

Nick posted on his insta that he hated seeing that, and he wished Sage would come train at NDA

rory mcdonald was in the ufc at 19 too. he didnt get an easy route like sage did
They were different fighters with different histories. Rory was a KOTC champion with 9 career fights when he signed. Sage wasn't a champion, and he only had 5 fights. He was also a karate specialist while Rory had been training everything since the start. Are you saying that they should have fought the same competition? I would disagree. Sage probably shouldn't have been in the UFC at that time. Rory fought Carlos Condit in his second fight. Situations aren't really comparable.

Dude lost to Mickey Gall, who was 3-0 with wins over CM Punk and Mike Jackson at the time, and people are still saying he should have fought tougher competition. The common MMA fan narrative isn't always correct.
