I only use Facebook as my medium of social media.

It does what I want. It has all the things that Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat etc would give me.

I know that if I had those other platforms as well as Facebook I would lose far too much time to them.

Also, I've seen too many people get in serious life altering trouble with some social media so I never talk about employment, or have political discussions etc on social media,

I use Facebook in a serious capacity.

I had a family member who was almost terminally ill last year and I used Facebook to coordinate not only family but medical appointments, updates, connect with services and more. I would not have been able to do all that without the service.

I currently use Facebook to stay in touch with family who live far away from me, plan events such as my racing season, keep my calendar organized, and more.
How much did they pay you for that?

People that complain about facebook, get rid of your cunt friend and family, they suck. It's not facebook, it's the cunts you call friends and family. Sorry.

Oh, I understand what you mean.

I was not paid for what I said. It's the truth.

I use Facebook for what works for me and it works fine.

I don't like it make me work for it.

I don't have a news feed for example. I turned it all off. I don't get status updates or anything because it's not what I want from it. if I want to know what is up with someone I go to their profile and check it out.

I don't allow people to post anything to my wall unless it's in response to something I post. Even then, I only allow things to be left up that I choose and think are appropriate. If it's something political or not something I would have in my home I delete it. I don't get upset, I move on. Then again, I treat Facebook like the front of my house. I don't put up anything I wouldn't want the world to see.

I don't have people who I think are inappropriate and I have my security settings up as high as they can go for most items. What you see as a friend of mine is what I want you to see.

It's really the only social media I have or need. It works excellent for me I don't worry about it because I use it appropriately and thus, I think the service is great.

I'm mystified that people have problems with it because if you use it correctly, imo, it shouldn't be a problem. The real problem isn't Facebook. It's the people using it.
