I remember the first time I saw him. My brother and I were kids watching AWA on TV, and Mean Gene was doing interviews. He introduced Hulk and he came out and cut a promo, but he had his back to the camera and we never saw his face. He was just flexing and talking shit. My brother and I were freaking out.

Hey wasn't Juan Valdez that creepy coffee guy that was always stalking out in people's kitchens?

Also when did Hulk Hogan start coming out to this song? Did that song exist before Hulk? or was it written for him?

he had charisma and could make fun drama, but he sure was a crappy wrestler. Amazed he was such a big star with only 4 or 5 dull moves.

I remember seeing something years ago wreswith others wrestlers talking about how Hogan was always the same move...dropkick off the ropes then leg drop.

He was a crappy wrestler because of the WWE's(WWF's at the time) work rate.....supposedly he was a talented up and comer on all level's when he left Japan.

Sounds like bollocks to me. Hulk made 50 million off a leg drop and a gimmick.

Good for business but he betrayed wwe for an inferior product that paid more.

Granted he really did help boost said product

Inferior product? haha WCW was a superior product and if you watch WWE now, what is putting asses in seat's is the same stuff WCW originated.

The problem was all the big fish that were in WCW during the wars had too much pull and it effected what they produced, even when the brand's merged after The Rock and Steve Austin stepped out who were the people wearing the belts? WCW guys.

Also bringing in Vince Russo(to wcw) was the final nail in the coffin with no one to reign his idea's in, the only good thing he did was put the big belt on Booker T.
