Ugh, its been a long hobby and Ive owned some unreal cars that I regret having to sell. To me I see this is a savings account. Other than my labour I usually break even on selling. The Belair and Malibu have some pretty strong sentimental value to them so I'll probably never get rid of them.
5 cars, 2 of which are classics. The classic game has changed alot in the last couple years you used to pick stuff up for cheap, an old car sitting in someone yard had hardly any value but now everything's worth alot or people are expecting alot for them.
Good thing is parts are becoming more accessible, more reporoduction parts are being made for cheap.
Reccomendation for guys getting into projects is baby steps, dont tare the car down you'll never put it back together.
