I have stayed out of this thread since the finals started. I hated the idea of GS winning so bad that I didn't watch a game. I recorded all the games and stayed away from ESPN. Now that it's over I get to go back and watch all the games with the insight that I won't have to throw anything at the tv! I couldn't be happier that the Warriors lost. However, it must be noted that Toronto was no the best team in the league. They were blessed by the luckiest bounce in NBA history or they wouldn't have advanced out of the east. No bitching here tho, at least it wasn't those fucks from GS again. The only bad part about not having more games is I won't get to see Steph's hot ass wife and mom on camera anymore. If I ever get lucky enough to meet Step in person I will immediately take him to the ground and feed him elbows until he is unrecognizable.

Time to start placing bets on next year???

Neither of these teams will be back in the finals. Obviously there are too many moving parts to predict this early, but if Philly keeps everyone they will come out of the east. The Warriors dynasty is over. The West is wide open again.

Disagree. The Rockets have no heart, the Spurs are still rebuilding and the Lakers are cursed. Even if KD leaves, the Warriors will be back. It would be nice if Kawhi stayed in Toronto, but it's doubtful. The free market ruins everything.

I still think Kawhi could stay in Canada. Full disclosure, I’m wrong more often than I’m right. Just seems crazy that he would leave millions on the table for a 2nd time. He has already given them their dream and he can be a legend there no matter what happens going forward. If he goes to either LA team the expectations are gonna be so high and he will have more media type obligations which he doesn’t seem fond of.

I think the Rockets should keep their team the same for one more year. They were a hammy away from beating GS last year and just seemed to melt this year. Give it one more run then blow it up. The Lakers are certainly down, but they are the Lakers and they have LeBron. They won’t be missing the playoffs again next year.

With all the craziness happening, Durant might stay in the Warriors and come back full strength by next year’s playoff.

Dynasty ain’t over if Warriors make the finals again

Someone on their medical staff needs to be fired. Kerr said they had no idea that a ruptured Achilles was something that could happen.

That would be cool and is very possible...the west is still a bit young to take out Clay and Curry + green(durant is just a bonus)

He also might take the whole year off and go to highest bidder

How long is that recovery?

10 months minimum. And he’s 30 so he’s never gonna be the same again. He will still be a top level player, but still diminished from his current level.

So Davis to the Lakers for Ball, Ingram, Hart, and the #4 pick this year and 2 more 1st round picks... That seems excessive to give up for AD even though he is an absolute monster.

So the Pelicans will get Zion and either trade the 4 or get damn near any other position they need filled to go with some solid young players from LA and get more options the next couple years.

Young players don’t get you championships. Veterans do. Lakers win this trade.
