Very much looking forward to this one, very interesting fight. Bias aside, Pettis is a better kicker, and is creative as a striker, he really excels off the wall when his back gets put there.... I don't agree that he is a better athlete than Nate(seriously guys, Nate's a competitive triathlete), I think he's more dynamic in his movement, but we've also seen him get tired in fights. I think that Nate is a better boxer, but he has to watch out for those kicks and close quarter knees. Nate's BJJ is worlds better, but it doesn't mean that Pettis is a scrub on the ground.

I see this playing out one of two ways..... Nate will either win with a late round TKO/Submission after wearing Pettis down, or Pettis wins a Decision after fighting a long game, keeping Nate at the end of kicks and rangy strikes.

X Factors, Will both fighters end up in a dogfight dirty scrap, forgoing the fancy strikes and just brawl? (That I feel plays in Nate's favor)..... Will this fight end on a cut, since both guys bleed easily (don't be surprised if this happens, especially if they end up just brawling... MMAHAWK @MMAHAWK Carbazel @Carbazel you can quote me on that one LOL).

Fun fight, can't wait, WAR DIAZ!!!!! Always rooting for my boys.

No trilogy, homie? Why Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz would be better off going their separate ways | BJPenn.com

The spontaneity of the explosive rivalry between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz sprung to life over three years ago and created pay-per-view gold. There’s still a trilogy left to be mined out of the bowels of the UFC’s matchmaking grotto, but the attempt to do so now could result in a watered-down version of the original blockbuster—a quick cash-grab pairing of two marquee names.

If there is no organic route to a rubber match, then perhaps it’s time McGregor and Diaz go their separate ways.

Diaz’s mere re-entry into the sport after a near three-year hiatus isn’t enough to go back down that frenetic road with McGregor—the one laden with profuse F-bombs, middle fingers and flying Monster Energy cans. The two men that came together to create prize-fighting magic are in completely different places in their careers right now.

First thing I thought of was how easily they cut. Pettis would be wise to stick and move with leg kicks. Hopefully it makes it to the first bell.
