I was being a smart ass. I was implying that the fact Ben Askren won't bend to UFC's strong arm contract offer, that this prevents Ben from being able to close the distance against any UFC fighters. Can't fight a UFC fighter in the octagon if you're not a signed UFC fighter. That's what I meant by that.

It's my opinion that Ben Askren has the skills to essentially nullify any opponents gameplan and force them to wrestle.

I disagree. To not be elite in the UFC does not mean one sucks.
If you took the top 0.00001% of fighters on the planet, he would be in that elite group.
