same. everytime i have ever watched there are some great fights but it is on at like 4am on a friday for me.its just not convenient on a week day. i end up following one thru gifs and clipsI try to watch Onefc, but I rarely do. They're often not at a convenient time or there's no advertising and I won't know when it's on.
I'll be making an extra effort now Hands of Stone is fighting there.

Whatever they imagine that he weighs.I'm not surprised One picked him up. What weight class will be be in over there?
I don't have much information since ONE isn't exactly open about their business but so far one Finnish fighter has fought there and he said he had a urine test overseen by Rich Franklin himself before being allowed on the scaleWhatever they imagine that he weighs.
I'm still crazy skeptical of their ban on weight cutting. There's no info released about what they find with their hydration testing. There's no early weights released. No actual evidence of someone stepping on a scale and something reading a particular number. Just no transparency. Add in their attempts to control what managers can even represent the fighters in their org and I call shenanigans on almost everything they do.
But I'm betting that if they're honest it'll be about 155.
That's cool and all but my problem is that there aren't any outside sources allowed for the sake objectivity.I don't have much information since ONE isn't exactly open about their business but so far one Finnish fighter has fought there and he said he had a urine test overseen by Rich Franklin himself before being allowed on the scale
Can't fail drug test if there aren't any People do miss weight so most of the events - if not every single one - has a few catch weight bouts. The issues simply aren't made public. Angela Lee allegedly struggled making weight in of her title bouts according to her opponent's team but it's impossible to confirm thanks to no public weigh ins. I've been following ONE for a bit over a year now and they definitely do some shady stuffThat's cool and all but my problem is that there aren't any outside sources allowed for the sake objectivity.
Also, I can't say that I follow them super closely due to the timing of their events but have they had anyone have a weight issue or fail a drug test? I haven't heard of one. Now it's possible that all of their fighters are playing by the rules all of the time... But the odds of that seem mighty fucking slim to me.
It's free on YouTube, streams live there tooI agree, it doesn’t exist in my world
I’ve never seen one add here
Tell me more about this GP lossONE is beyond shady they have changed rules without telling fighters, overturned results at the owner's discretion, never had a public weigh in, etc. etc. etc.
I was almost starting to take them seriously as they've been signing many Muay Thai fighters and kickboxers that I follow but the last straw was when I watched a historical Giorgio Petrosyan loss and they simply erased that from history by overturning the result the next day because the owner felt like it. Fuck them!
Muay thai clinch rapist Petmorakot Petchyindee forced him into an ugly fight recently and the judges gave Petmorakot a questionable decision. He forced a lot of clinches and the fight was a mess but he didn't get a point deducted and was only lightly warned by the ref twice iirc. A couple days later it was announced that the result was overturned into a NC because of illegal clinching by Petmorakot. They'll rematch tomorrow.Tell me more about this GP loss
I did not know that One FC had banned weight cutting. I've been looking to throw away the scale for years because it just encourages cheating and it's gotten to the point where the weight cut is harder and more dangerous than the actual fight. there's no need for a pre fight weigh in, these organizations know roughly how much these guys weigh walking around between fights.anyway. Just weigh them in between fights and assign them to the proper weight division. You could still get them together for a pre fight media stare down and maybe do a pull apart to hype the main event without the weigh in. Kiss it goodbye imo.Whatever they imagine that he weighs.
