Possibly not thread-worthy, but fuck it. The replays in circulation don't really clarify it for me. Ben didn't look to have a big knot or cut or any mark at all that I could see. Did it hit the side of his jaw, his forehead or what? The best I could gather from the replays is that it it hit the side of his face, maybe the jaw, and continued for full impact in the clavicle/trapezius. Ben looked mentally AWOL when they managed to stand him up, but I still couldn't see any wound from the knee. What sayeth the forum?

It was a cheap shot. Ben wasn’t ready. He was bending down to check out a wet spot on the floor and Jorge came running over there and knees him. Totally unsportsmanlike.

Looked like side of the temple & neck'ish, hard impact.
One of those jolts, totally threadworthy.
Wasn't even a solid headshot, no one really talks about it.
But yeah, temple and blunt force body imo.

Ben doesn't even know. He told Ariel that he wasn't sore anywhere after the fight.

Looks like the right temple...

Almost looks like a double knee. If the outside knee did the damage it looks like the knee landed on or under the jaw. If it was the other knee, the I would agree with the temple. Is it possible it was a double knee?

Hmm, yeah, could be a temple graze. Neck---maybe, at the base? It's like Jorge found a consciousness switch and flicked it off. With his knee.

I have a screenshot of Ben when they revived him, but there seems no way to upload it here. Or maybe being old and dumb while failing to be drunk just made it seem impossible.

It's such a weird KO. He looks out immediately and should have just dropped straight downward, but Jorge's momentum rolls him back in the cradle shape he was in, and then he straightens out when his butt his the canvas. I'm amazed they didn't keep him in the hospital for 24 hrs. When they revived him he just had that WRONG frown like you get when you're awakened in the second hour of passing out from a really bad drunken stupor and simply can't process anything around you. They should do every test under the sun to make triple sure he doesn't have a problem waiting to explode.

Clearly it didn't directly impact solid bone, or Ben would have been bleeding. So it's like it hit soft tissue somewhere. Or maybe the bony part of Jorge's knee is not what made contact. Maybe further up, on the quad or where the quad meets the knee.

I don't know. I'm puzzleder than a giraffe looking for a phone booth on the crystal streets of the future.

The forum says your initial analysis is correct.

thought it was more like a karate chop to the neck, the way he starched immediately

This might be the fuckin' key to the Scooby Doo mystery! Knee to the vagus! Seriously. There could be something to this. But also LOL, just to cover my bases.
