Anyone ever track the driver? He was around the block from me twice, now he is miles away. Not that I care but more of a logistics thing. I figured those guys have routing software. Just seems odd to me.

The trip ruined me. I have a couple bottle of German wine coming. So close and yet so far.

It depends on if your package is express or ground. Express is delivered in the morning, ground in the afternoon.

I actually forgot we choose next day until GK asked. I was just wondering why he would be around the corner on 2 different deliveries than go miles away.

Then comes the saver overnight. Then they start the rounds for ground. Which is why I don’t know how their tracker is supposed to be effective.
They have an 830am guaranteed delivery (first), a 10am (priority), a 3pm (saver), and then the end of day (everything else).

I have a FedEx location that I use for anything that I'm in a hurry to get. I can order something from a supplier and request standard overnight and it will be there no later than 8am because the express orders all get lumped together when they're going to a FedEx Office facility. If I have it sent to my office or house it may be 8pm before it arrives.

The weird part is that I can get it at that location and drive it to Charlottesville faster than I can pick it up if I just have it sent to the Charlottesville sorting facility.

I'll squeeze it out of the cardboard. This wine was hard to find. It's coming out of Miami but I'm pretty sure we ordered from somewhere else. I think third party sites track down the wine and have it sent while not actually stocking the wine themselves.

The place it's coming from is called Spirited Engraving. I know that isn't who we ordered from.

Just got here. It was sent ground even though we paid for next day. Bottles were pretty hot too exactly what we wanted to avoid. I sent an email to the shipper.

Their website is way easier to use than Fedex's. And it has more options.

Fedex, UPS, and USPS are all better than Amazon Logistics though. With Amazon I've had at least six packages in the past year show as delivered with a photo of the package in front of the wrong apartment.

That simply doesn't happen with the big 3

Shipper said there was a glitch in their system. Lol They are going to refund the difference.

The UPS guy was a wanker too. App showed him in the next over neighborhood. Doorbell rings I get there and he’s just about to leave. You have to sign for alcohol.
He says oh sorry I knocked really softly. I said I only heard the doorbell. He knocks soft rings bell and leaves. What a douche.
