My advice is to stand in water and touch one of those live train circuits at the same time. How many volts do you play with?
I had issues with my washing machine flashing a code. Went onto youtube and some dude did a tutorial of how to fix it. It was a total pain in the ass, but ended up fixing the problem in 2 hours. Very satisfying once it was done to know I didn't get ripped off by some appliance tech saying I needed new this or that.
My dryer stopped drying. First part I ohm'ed out was the heater and bam OL. I yanked it out to confirm and you can see the break in the coil. We have a local place run by cat ladies that's open on Sat. I'm guessing this is a common heater. I like fixing my own stuff when possible. Probably also saved a couple hundred bucks?

I have had codes on the washer. I have repair manuals for both machines. My dryer didn't post a code. I kept asking my kid where the dry clothes were and keeps telling they're still wet. I just thought he was being lazy and didn't feel like bringing them up. I went and checked, sure enough no heat. I have a 15' of duct so before I checked the machine I put a service call in for the duct to be cleaned out. Going to let it stand. It's been 3 years so it probably needs a douching.
Couple of weeks back I got myself 3 times with 48v. I couldn't decide if it was zapping me or not. It was tho. Fucker tickled instead of whacked tho

I had two of those models. Together they didn’t last as long as this one. This one needs a small procedure and she’s as good as new.
Mcnab Rd. just west of University. They have a little appliance parts place in an almost empty shopping center. They are open until 2. They have about 4-5 cats running around. They aren’t the cheapest but they usually have parts in stock the day I need them.
I’m sure some hillbilly could reattach the coil. Maybe braze it? For $86 it’s not worth risking a fire.
