It's short cycling. I have had this A/C fixed a bunch. This is probably the only A/C guy in the world that talks someone out of a new unit. This takes some special PITA system and only one company makes it. He says the new ones aren't any better. Previous owner had an A/C leak and never fixed it. Kept filling it. I told the A/C guy I don't care what it costs or how long just find it and fix it. The leak was pretty close to the evap. so not a big deal. I'm wondering if there is another damn leak. The leak was found close to year ago. Seems kind of long if it was an old leak. Never ends. Thankfully I don't have to stay there.
Go steal the A/C unit out of @conor mcgregor nut hugger's window. I guarantee he cheaped out and bought the cheapest unit available and it doesn't even properly fit his window.

His address is 69 Cuck Lane, Kissimee Florida.

Ughhh feel kinda dumb. It was the condensate line. I had the guy put a second pan in so the ceiling doesn’t get wet. I checked that pan and it was dry. Totally forgot about the primary pan. All fixed anywho.

I looked right the float switches too but that damn pan was dry. These are newer float switches. My old ones wouldn’t turn the unit back on until you cleared the line. These come back on until it senses water again. Through me for a loop.

I got a new AC put in. I rent so it was free, I just had to bitch to maintenance a lot.

FPL (power utility in southern Florida for those unfamiliar) bill went down from $150 to $110 after it was installed. This month it'll be under $100.

Just goes to show you can unplug and turn off as much shit or as many lights as you want, your AC is what determines how high your electric bill is gonna be

Hahaha I brought my meter here but only to play with it and read the instructions. No meter required though. This is A/C 101 and I have to admit failure on my part. Splinty @Splinty gave her 18 months to dump me but this might shave 6 months off that estimate.

So true. I had a new A/C installed at the other place. Electric bill lowered $100 per month. Unreal.

What did you unplug or turn off in an attempt to save money?

Nothing bc I knew it was pointless. But I've read tons of articles on the internet saying that unplugging TVs or other electronics when they're not in use helps.

I did turn off one of my air filters one day though (I keep this one in the utility area near the litterbox). Didn't make a damn bit of difference

You got some cool parlor tricks with language once and a while but holy shit are you stupid when it comes to anything else.
