Last week, Chael Sonnen said Dana White’s public comments about Jorge Masvidal being too big for Conor McGregor were an attempt to provoke a reaction from the Irishman and, lo and behold, ‘The Notorious’ has fired back at the UFC president, albeit in private.

Speaking at Saturday’s UFC 240 post-fight press conference, a mischievous-looking Dana White said McGregor was ‘not happy’ about his comments on Masvidal, indicating that he elicited the desired reaction from the former UFC two-division champion.

Dana White says Conor McGregor was unimpressed that the UFC president said Jorge Masvidal was "too big"…

Somebody told him how dumb it was to undersell a match-up between two of their most marketable fighters.

The 145lb fighter who once cameo'd at 170lbs for absolutely no reason thinks the genuine 170lb fighter isnt too big for him.

This circus of bullcrap is getting very boring

Nate is much to small to fight at welterweight, Nate was "too big" to fight Conor. It's a pretty logical conclusion that a legit welterweight is too big to fight Conor.
he wasnt afraid to put conor against floyd he shouldnt be afraid for conor to fight a guy a little bigger is all im saying. it would be a great fight.

It's only a great fight if you want to see Conor murdered. He wasn't afraid to put Conor against Floyd because it was a different sport, and he wasn't worried about Conor being mauled.

Masvidal just presented the best perspective on a possible Conor fight. I wish more fighters would adopt this attitude and leave everything else to the side. Here is what he said:

“First, let me say whether Conor takes it or not — because people be putting sometimes words in people’s mouths, from my mouth in particular — I got good things to say about Conor. He’s done a lot in this sport and he’s made his money already.
Let’s just fight, what I signed up for, and that’s it. Conor wants the fight, I want the fight, it’ll happen. If not, I don’t want anybody putting words in my mouth or nothing like that. The dude is a fucking G, bro. He did his thing. He wants more money and he’s not getting it, who am I to blame him? I would never tell a guy, ‘You’re a bitch for not taking a fight.’ No, he wants to get paid his money. He deserves it. I’m in the same place right now. I want an upgrade from where I’ve been at.
The second thing is, if he wants to come back and he wants somebody who’s gonna stand with him and give him the type of fights that he likes, look no further my brother. Let’s not flirt with each other and all this sh-t. I’ve got a big buzz going on because I’m known and put people to sleep. You’ve got a huge buzz because you put people to sleep. Let’s do this. That’s it. It has to be no back and forth and all that flirty sh-t like we’re in high school. Let’s just scrap if we’re gonna scrap. If not, NEXT.”

With all the interim titles can we not come up with some sort of belt for Masvidal and Conor to fight for?
