So I just purchased the XB1 as kind of a half present for my daughter and myself as our birthdays are very close. We are both really into Skyrim and so far, I picked up Elder Scrolls Online, but have another $100 to spend.

What are some good games (not GTA5) that should be considered?

I don't have an X box 1 but my friends do and they rave about Alien isolation but it's scary so beware if your daughter is young.

Wolf among us
Destiny
Dragon age inquisition

I'm a PS4 guy. The only game from RedDragon's list that I'd recommend is Wolf Among Us. You like Skryim, so I assume you play RPG's. Witcher 3 is fantastic. Just came out recently.

Battlefield 4 is solid now . my main recommendation is to get Titanfall. You can pick it up hella cheap and all the dlc is free. Criminally underrated. I played it to death. Bit easy online but has laid a solid foundation for the sequel. The new cod bo3 has nicked the movement system its that good.

Elite Dangerous is a good game in public(beta) at the moment. If you like EVE its pretty much for you. Minecraft for your daughter

We have a ton of games. Mordor, Dragon Age, Forza Horizon 2, Terraria, COD Advanced Wars, Metal Gear, So Many Me, Assassins Creed Unity, Massive Chalice, Halo MCC, Diablo 3, Tomb Raider, and maybe a couple more. I got the EA Access but I found myself only playing Titanfall and BF4. I think I would just buy those outright if I catch them on sale.

Would definitely recommend:
Dragon Age: Inquisition
Shadow of Mordor

Would recommend if you liked previous games in the series:
Far Cry 4
Assassin's Creed Unity, once it was patched several times it's a lot better than the original reviews indicated.

Titanfall(free on EA Access)
Battlefield 4(Also free on EA Access)
Metal Gear Solid 5
GTA:V
Far Cry 4
Forza
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition

Lots of solid games. Like B17 said, he has EA Access, and for $5.00 month or $30.00 for a 1-year subscription, you can't really go wrong.
It has Titanfall, BF4, Need for Speed, Madden '15, and a few others.
Get it for a couple of months. It will definitely hold you over until some of the newer stuff starts coming out.

You and your daughter might like Minecraft. I like relaxing and play Forza Horizons 2.Rayman Legends is also a good game you two could play.

Red Dead Redemption 2. You got the OneX console? If you do that game is beautiful on 4K. Great story. Portal2 for the Xbox 360. Multiplayer split screen. Played it with my daughters. So fun playing with another person right next to you. Lots of fun trying to figure out the puzzle. Funny as hell too. If you have an OneX it can play older games of the 360 and original Xbox.

Also call of duty black ops 1, 2 (360 ports) and 3. I haven'the played 4 yet. And I heard it's online only. Which sucks hard...
