rizin gives you a red card for missing weight .automatic 50% loss of wages and any infractions after result in a DQ .. gabi garcia had to publicly humiliate herself in the center of the ring while takada scolded her like a child for a good 15-20 mins in the middle of the show. it was like vince mc mahons kiss my ass club

post fight weigh in. fight and jump on the scale setup cageside. gets both fighters the same weight in the cage and noone has the advantage of being bigger or heavier.or weigh as you go in i dont really care as long as fighters are the same weight during the fight.

your not gonna fight that way. noone is gonna cut weight and make themselves sick to fight someone that is the same weight and in great condition. why would you train that way if theres no advantage to it?

Accept people did die, and that's why they stopped doing it. Google Kim Duk-koo

So why do you think all of a sudden people will stop making terrible decisions regarding their health and career?
i think most fighters and gyms would absolutely stop the extreme cutting if the rules were changed. theres no advantage now that both fighters are the same weight in the cage. what happend to kim was almost 40 yrs ago. kim and his team were cutting knowing as soon as he made weight he was going to have time to rehydrate and gain weight back before the fight. if the rules were changed to a post fight weighin back then i think his team would have made better choices.
