Bank just offered one they are doing as trial. The security code on the back changes. I offered to try it. You still keep your old card. This is only for a temp. amount of time.
Interesting. Do they give you a FOB or phone app that tells you the current security code?Bank just offered one they are doing as trial. The security code on the back changes. I offered to try it. You still keep your old card. This is only for a temp. amount of time.
It looks like it actually changes on the card itself.Interesting. Do they give you a FOB or phone app that tells you the current security code?
That's it!
I use Roboform and it also autofills. I think my solution is to use my current card for online and the new one for in store purchases. Thisis a trial they are doing and asked if I wanted to volunteer. At some point the new card won’t work so you keep both cards at the same time for now at least.Don't use it but hate it.
Chrome autofills my CC number and I have memorized my code.
Never have to touch my card for online shopping.
They need to remedy that portion.
You joined to post in a 3 year old thread, bro?It is impossible to withdraw money from the card, knowing only its code and your name. Suppose you are asked to give a card code, for example, when you advertise for the sale of something on a popular advertising site. In that case, you give it, and then they start asking us for additional data: expiration date, code on the back, or just a code from an SMS under the pretext of transferring from another bank or paying through a terminal - end the conversation, these are scammers. But there is no need to be afraid: the fact that you have provided your card code will not allow them to do anything — you cannot write off the money by number. According to Greedy Rates, if there is a card number, it is possible to make a transfer to your name with a further refund request. You return the funds, and an autopayment is connected to your card, for which regular debits begin.
