I shave mine with a rusty old bread knife and polish of with some steel wool and a splash of rubbing alcohol. Never had a single nic.

I nicked the intersection of shaft to balls about a week ago. Normally don't have any problems.

I caught my sack bad with a trimmer before so nothing with a motor goes in the region anymore.

Pits and balls. Phillips body trimmer no comb. Foil straight to the hangers. I’m sure I’ve had a few minor bleeders. No big deal.
