Keenan Cornelius teased on his podcast that he's involved somehow with this event.

How about a Covington/Cejudo commentary combo?

Bruce buffer in any sort of capacity?

I'll Tune in though. Team format can be good to watch.

Is it in any way possible that Paige doesn't completely suck as a commentator?

jesus, you have the patience to listen to bjj podcasts? wow. fair play to you
I'm a Keenan fan but they do talk about topics outside of jiu-jitsu as well.

Plus I haven't been able to train lately so I try to get my fixes anyway I can, videos or podcasts.

A few more details:

"The format of the tournament encourages relatively quick matches and submission-hunting. The competitors who lose their semifinal matches (which comprise the first round of competition) will be eliminated, and matches that end in a draw will see both competitors booted from the running. Teams are out of the running once all five of their competing athletes are eliminated.

Kinektic has also gotten rid of the standard team grappling format that pre-determines competitor matchups. Instead, the team captains will have thirty seconds between matches to decide which of their team members will go up next (with the captains themselves being an option to roll into the fray), offering a unique strategic approach to what is usually considered an “individual” sport. The rest of the competitors, including those who will compete in the superfight, have yet to be announced."

Fanatics murders all. I hope going forward they have more actual BJJ guys I'm tired of watching MMA guys try to grapple against the best grapplers. Much like I wouldn't want to see Keenan fight MMA

I agree with Star-Lord @Star-Lord, no way a team with Craig Jones, Edwin Najmi and Nicky Rod lose to these others (Jake Shields has been doing great too in comp grappling).

It is great to see Enrico Cocco on a squad, he's always awesome to see roll, another great Florida guy (Zen Jiu Jitsu).

I may need to plan a Florida vs the World event in BJJ, because we have some killers here.

Let me know if you do, I've been thinking about that for a while. I think we could really showcase some homegrown talent

I've been toying around with a BJJ Expo idea for a while now, thinking about a high profile event to add to it (on top of a traditional tournament for all the kids and locals)... Bro I'll hit you up, we should chop this idea up

Craig's team was already the sure winners. Now they're unbeatable. This is like UFC 1 all over again.

Though that team with Cocco, Warren and Brasco is definitely going to win all the takedowns.
