DC should’ve called it day after the Lewis fight, been a man of his word instead of listening to Dana. Sure, he made some decent money fighting again, but he tarnished his legacy as well. Not in the conversation for best at 205...and no longer in the greatest heavyweight conversation. I’m a fan, so I was pulling for him, just to be clear.

I could see him beating Stipe in a rubber match, but I can also see him getting KO'd again

I agree...he is an amazing HW, but HW is HW and to hold the belt is to get lucky in a sense...can't fight guys that huge and not take KOs

His advantage is speed at Hw and he will lose that advantage when he has to toss 230lbs around for long enough....at that point he is just a small HW with amazing technique and it is a 50/50 almost

When I heard how reckless DC was talking to Crazy Bob, I got a bad feeling about his chances, but he was so much faster and walking through shots, so I figured he might catch him. DC has to be devastated to have this "legacy" he's been working on basically wrecked, but I think it was right to give Stipe a rematch. He deserved it and it made more sense than cutting to lose to Jones again. It'll be hard for him to sit out. If he was smart, he'd take a year off then come back and take a squash match just to leave on a win, then retire. He and I are the same age and I feel every bone in my body despite not even a quarter of his wear and tear. He and Yoel have both done enough.

he has never checked a kick in his life
When your Muay Thai is that good you don't have to. And the crazy thing about it, is that you can only be that good... if you've never practiced it before..
