If he comes back and wins a fight everyone will forgive and forget. Juicy Jon has done WAY worse shit and so many people give him chance after chance and believe all the bullshit lies that he spews during his fake apologies.
“Everyone” doesn’t have to forgive and forget. As long as Conor (and Jon) have the potential to make WME money they’ll continue to spin and / or ignore his stupidity. If Conor loses his next fight, his earning potential will drop radically and I can’t see him continuing to get the same ‘do no wrong’ treatment.

If jones loses a fight (depending on who he loses to and the money that could be made for a rematch) the UFC media monster may very well turn on him.

It’s disgusting how multiple positive steroid tests, continued abhorrent behaviour and belligerent incursions on the UFC’s own conduct policies are repeatedly justified by the management due to potential profits.

I’m curious to see how quickly the UFC and Rogan on his podcast would stop defending jones once he loses.

if Conor wins his next fight expect the machine to keep supporting him, if not....

A well deserved dig, but how else should he handle the situation? Obviously he shouldn’t have created the problem in the first place, but my hope is this is the long overdue wake up call he needs.

If we think Conor is a big star now, imagine how big a contrite, humble (well “humbleish”) Conor could be? Maybe I’m delusional, but I’m hopeful.
Colby took on the heel role, and he might talk shit but he's actually a nice guy. His shit-talks are annoying but it's pretty harmless.

Conor used to be same but I'd say when he started touching Aldo during buildup to their fight is where he changed, after that, he started to show things with his actions and action speaks louder than words. His actions were total shit after that, he initiated the brawl between the Diaz clan, Dolly Incident, Smashing phones, Bellator jumping cage, touching Floyd in the head, punching old man, etc...

he has to apologize at this point, what else will he do?

maybe show some consistency in action, then maybe people will forgive him but in the mean time, he should get what he deserve and let him earn back people's appreciation and it's going to take more than just verbal apology.

That was my understanding too, but I read this in a separate article:
“When asked whom he would’ve fought, McGregor said “it was leaning toward (UFC lightweight contender) Justin Gaethje at the time.”

Not interested in hearing his spin. If he has some amazing excuse for sucker punching an old man or attacking refs and officials for fights that he is not apart of or attacking fans outside of shiity clubs, let me know. We know who he is now, and that is someone that is much more willing to attacks strangers than fight mma.

Convenient timing. When Nate is ALL over the MMA media this week and everyone talking about how amazing he played the before and after of his fight with Pettis, CM has to chime in and try and take a piece of that sunshine. I enjoyed the Conor stuff 3 years ago but now I just wish he would go away. :|

They just put up Khabib vs Conor on ESPN plus, Very entertaining to watch Conor get humbled.

Conor looked scared and nervous even during the walkout.

You could tell in his mind, he was freaking out about the mauling he was about to get.
