Here's the back story. Benji Radach was like 18-1 when this fight went down. His only loss being to a prime Sean Sherk in the UFC.

Danny Lafever was an ex boyfriend of a girl that Radach was plowing and he was pissed. He had zero MMA experience. Not even a toughman fight.

Radachs original opponent had dropped out and Lafevrr stepped up. This is what happened.

Didn't Donald Cerrone get decked by a boyfriend? I remember something like that backstage at a fight.

Also I remember Mayhem getting beatup when he crashed a party drunk by his ex's new boyfriend, errr.....

Yeah this is a fight that often gets overlooked when talking about the biggest upsets in MMA history.

Crocop/Randleman, Crocop/Gonzaga, GSP/Serra, ect were all big... but at least those guys got KO'd by actual MMA fighters.

I think Lefever did have some amateur boxing experience.

I remember seeing this "elsewhere" a while back and was thinking how bad it sucks to lose in that kind of personal fight

I can't find this fight for the life of me. You used to be able to pull it up easily with a simple Benji Radach vs Dan Lefever search, but all the old links are no longer working :/

IIRC, Radach was said to have paid to have the fight video made private/taken down a while back.

my old team mate putting a halt to guidas 15 fight win streak with ease..Yunker is one of the most awkward fighters ever and sneaky slick and very wirey... Yunker ws like 6-4 at the time iirc.

Nice work, as guida was/is almost looking for a ground fight, but got dealt with....great finish

yessir! In trained with Yunker for few years until he thought he was too good 4 our team.. and its not like he was doing this to me or any killers in our gym...I don't think he ever got off his bk hardly when we trained..I'm not breaking unwritten laws about training stories just stating he had no reason to assume he was better than us.
