It really is sad to see what Nick is doing to himself. The ending to his story is not going to be a happy ending. Any of his prime fighting years are being lost to alcohol.

Mhh, he can do with his life as he pleases.
I'm sure he also has a lot of friends from his active time, the training and triathlon, his manager, brother whatever who watch him and it's okay. Let him enjoy his retirement from mma. Everybody can take a timeout. He deserves a long timeout. Hopefully (or maybe in fact he's doing it just now) he finds back to training and living a cleaner life. but hey, grown man.

Only, the choice of pants I personally found out of character.

if he has finances in order and he isn't beating his wife/girlfriend then power to him man. he's done enough fighting in his life. let him enjoy himself.
yea don't know what the fuss is about. Nick doesn't owe shit to anyone, always the fans griping and complaining about what Nick should do how he's throwing his career down the drain. Sure, we only see him drunk on TMZ but he's at a club, that's what you're supposed to do at clubs, get drunk. Not like he's punching some old man or causing trouble when he's got a fight lined up.

He's got some endorsements through cannabis community and the triathlon community, probably made a good lump sum from his fight with GSP and Anderson. As far as his spending money, whatever he earns from teaching JuJitsu should cover it.

I know Nate is sorted money wise. I would assume his brother is the same. If they were amart enough to invest in stores and cultivation then they really dont need to fight anymore. Anyone know if he's still doing triathalons? If he is then he's doing better than the average guy who skips the work out and goes straight to the pub.

Nate mentioned that he makes more sponsoring cannabis stuff than fighting now a days. He fights because that’s what he’s always done. He trains and needs an avenue to test that training. I’m sure they’re both doing “aight” financially so as someone else mentions, while it may be sad to watch from the outside looking in, Nick can do whatever the fuck he wants if he isn’t hurting anyone else.

Man, when he was fighting the world's best, smoking his pot and doing triathlons in between bouts, I had a ton of respect and fascination for the guy. If I had to guess that one of the Diaz bros would go right off the rails I would have picked Nate in a heartbeat. Now I get the impression that Nate, who has effectively and impressively carved out a very successful career for himself, has to be seriously disappointed in the big bro he has spent his lifetime worshiping.

The most inexplicable part of this whole video is the surrounding cast. Pause the clip at any one point and look ad the odd bunch of fucking misfits he has surrounded himself with. We've got the Suge wannabe, fat Freddie Roach looking motherfucker, Guiseppe with his shirt unbuttoned all the way in the middle of the street, and a couple of dough faced men in black trying their best to mimic Nick's hairstyle. Then you've got Diaz in those faggoty clouds in the sky jeans............the entire thing wreaks of what he once stood against. It's not 'real' anymore, and it sure as shit ain't gangsta!

With all that said, I still like Nick, but holy fuck man, get it together already!
