Khabib feels uber confident since his daddy is in his corner this time.

If there is any type of factor it's how jet lag will effect Khabib's weight cut imo.

Both should have came 2-3 weeks earlier to get acclimatized to the weather (Werdum vs Cain although that was more about elevation)
Yeah tbh I am still not sold on Khabib's dad having a positive influence on this fight. He's fought how many fights in the ufc by himself and won? this could be a bad change for khabib.

that is very true. You don't fix what's not broken. Khabib could be too nervous to please his dad but I'm betting on the discipline side. He's not gonna showboat or play around at the least with his dad around.

Anyone else notice Khabib sounds a bit different? Obviously he is still working on his English but his voice sounds deeper to me.

It's a valid concern but usually parental problems arise from them being dipshits who interfere with better trainers. That's not really an issue when Khabib's dad is a good trainer in his own right, who has facilitated Khabib's evolution rather than stifling him.

You get the sense that Khabib's dad is probably a psychological asset rather than a liability if this turns into a dogfight. But we'll have to wait and see.

you're probably right mate. its the change in circumstance that worries me. Khabib will go from being Alpha Dog, with the mentality to come in and dominate DP, to his daddy's son who 's worried about impressing his pops. most likely he will put on a clinic where DP just gets overwhelmed with gameplan and technique...….most likely :)

are you aware of who khabibs father even is? he is hardly in the same category with old man weidman and super sage northcutts father. if khabib does any less than kill dustin abdulmanap will not be impressed. there is no daddys boy scenario here

This is perfect. Sleep in, wake up, have a nice breakfast, and then watch fights all day long. I might even purchase the ppv. (Probably not though.)

I never do parlays because they are sucker’s bets. That being said, I sprinkled a couple bucks on a parlay.

Felder is an interesting pick.

He can definitely win as Edson has been cracked before, and recently, but Edson is such a dynamic striker that I have a hard time picking against him unless he's fighting a skilled grappler.

I'm just hoping it really is Dustin's time. Anyone ever see that documentary they did on him when he was pretty early in his career? It just seems right that Dustin should win.

I'm also an american hick so that also has something to do with it
