calling it lazy isnt being honest. it is not like khabib lays on dudes like jake sheilds and jon fitch. khabib breaks people. dustin is mentally broken right now. i feel bad for him. he broke conor mentally and he finished them both

Tony should want to be screwed over here. He'd get completely mauled and dominated by khabib, way worse than Dustin. I can't even see a hypothetical way for Tony to get that victory.

lol no him not getting his hands up and getting dropped by Lando and Pettis is lazy...he better just hope he can leave my dad's sunglasses off indoors so he don't get hurt again.

If you put Ariel's nose on Tony, then put Tony on a skateboard on a very windy day, in which direction would he go?

I like Tony's honesty....but in terms of speaking, he can't dance. He wants to express himself but isn't very good at articulating his thoughts and feelings.

exactly.. hence the growl he uses when saying "Where you at McNugget i'm gonna kick your ass".. you can tell her wants to say something more but can't articulate it like you pointed out.. He's as shitty a speaker as I am a typer...

I keep remembering that Kevin Lee fight also. If that happens with Khabib then Tony is stuck underneath him for the rest of the round.

The flip side of the coin is maybe Tony will control distance better and mark Khabib up more than anyone else has. Tony applies a different kind of smothering pressure than Khabib does. Tony is constantly threatening to punch you which can be tiring also. I just wonder if he can keep that pressure on without getting taken down by Khabib.

this.

can he get up?
and if he can, will it take so much energy that he can't keep up his exhausting pace?

Ragin' Al was slipping the single and punching Khabib. Not sure if Tony's defense is on that level, which is why I think Gillespie is a more interesting match-up for Eegle Smesh.

I don't think Tony is worried about fighting off his back. In fact I bet he'd welcome it to see if he can slap a sub on. We saw Dustin get a hold of Khabibs neck with a decent grip but Dustin isn't known for his BJJ like Tony is, six subs in the UFC isn't too shabby. I also think Tony is probably the toughest guy mentally in the divisions breaking him will take a bit more.

Oh and Khabib has shown he is very hittable. Great chin and all but it's only a matter of time. He has little to no head movement and retreats straight back on his heels with his chin way up. If Tony can get some of his crazy striking going he could have some success.

tony will open up his hips by throwing constantly and allow khabib to change levels and get in easier for the TD.

I think all this laziness talk is a bait. Tony’s mind game is starting. He wants Khabib to come charging at him and plans to catch him with something or at least don’t want Khabib to stay outside.

If takendown, Tony won’t try to get up, he’ll stay and fight off of his back. Almost all of Khabib’s opponents waste all of their energy trying get up against the cage.

Both guys are crazy, the way both guys talk is little different than other fighters and both guys dominate all of their opponents

Both camps are pretty game but
Eddie Bravo is way more cunning when you look at how he beat Royler Gracie twice, I’ll bet more on the cunning /creativeness of the 10th planet JJ when this fight happens.

Also this would be like 5th time both guys will be prepping for each other, this is the perfect fight.

as much as I admire Khabib, the last fight showed us that he can get tagged and in my opinion, almost lost that fight if he ate another shot or two.. First time I saw him get tagged like that.. if Tony catches him, it might be all over for Khabib..

I agree with your statement. Tony knows what Khabib brings and needs to utilize it against him. if anyone could do it and capitalize, its Tony. Mark my words, if Khabib wins. he'll retire

I don't think Ferguson will try to get up and just fight from his back which is not a bad idea considering how Fedor got caught by Werdum, off of his back and Cain got caught by Werdum, back against the cage.

Difference being werdum was a multiple time world bjj champion with far superior grappling, where as khabibs jiu jitz is probably better than tony's.
Also Tony's jiu jitsu style of high crack head rubber guard and rolling around on the ground to escape things doesn't suit khabib, he'll just smesh right through it and he sticks like glue.
