And yet they are banned.... Aka WTF....those elbows you describe are very unlikely to achieve a 12-6 angle.

I don’t know if your list has any unpopular opinions. I imagine most would agree with what you said.Mostly agree.
But GSP would absolutely have beaten Bobby Knuckles (who was Ko'd by GSP's training partner, Wonderboy). Probably by L&P multi-takedown decision.
Some of mine:
- (Related to #2) P4P is a mental masturbation exercise and there is no such thing. Never was, never will be. You know its stupid when they have girls on the P4P list... None of the women on that list would beat any of the guys on the list. Should have a separate one if at all.
- Knees, stomps, & kicks to the head of a downed opponent makes fights more exciting. Watch ONE Championship for proof. No stalling, and evens the field against "crotch sniffers".
- 12-6 elbows being banned is bananas - especially from the bottom (WTF?)
Don't worry, they're still on them. The TRT Era was the greatest era in MMA history
Every fighter should be allowed PEDS
1. Fedor is not the GOAT
2. Women fighters give their all far more often than the men
3. Dana is an excellent promoter
4. Miesha Tate is not hot
5. Events should start much earlier
6. Same day weigh-ins with forfeits in place if weight is missed
7. Zero tolerance lifetime ban for second PED offenses
8. I have no problem with lay-n-pray and there should be no ref stand ups. It should be up to the person on bottom to get back to their feet.
9. No automatic championship rematches in cases of KO/submission. You have to get at least one win before challenging for a title again.
10. No fighter should have the option to turn down a fight.
So I guess I’m right in line with what the thread is asking for?

"We all have it coming, kid."Ben Askren had it coming...
with the exceptions being Shamrock's win over Funaki in 1994, and DC could beat JBJ a couple times...Pride era Fedor was mostly a pretty boring fighter to watch.
Sakuraba was carefully protected and managed and had all kinds of shadiness in his career until his bosses moved on in the wake of him getting Wanderlized.
Ken Shamrock never won a legitimate fight against anyone with even an inkling of what they were doing.
John Danaher runs Renzo's like a cult leader and isn't really that bright, but hides behind being a Philosophy school dropout and a Kiwi accent to convince people otherwise.
BJ should've lost his fight with Serra.
Jackson and Wink are mostly to blame for Jon Jones behavior from the moment they played Rashad.
Joe Rogan's whole podcast career is due to forum members ceaselessly promoting it for him and giving him feedback in the early days.
Wanderlei never would've had a career if he hadn't illegally head-butted Guy Mezger.
Khabib is an awful human being and looks like a better fighter than he actually is because his opponents have been either undersized or terrible wrestlers.
Henry Cejudo isn't a real champ because he didn't even beat DJ.
DC could fight Jon Jones 100 times and he would lose every time.
The fans are the main reason fighters get exploited.
Scott Coker is no better than Dana White besides being friendlier.
The Culinary union was right.
There's no way Ken's fight with Funaki was legitimate. His fight with Suzuki was obviously a work so there's no reason to believe any of the fights between those three were genuine.with the exceptions being Shamrock's win over Funaki in 1994, and DC could beat JBJ a couple times...
All This.

Lol if you rewatch that fight, the clarity that it's a work really sharpens. Funaki was the king of putting people over. He sacrificed his body for that organization and really deserves credit for keeping the show entertaining for the puroresu base and occasionally convincing for people who liked fights. He and Ken were seasoned stiff workers. Much more hilarious was the Funaki/Suzuki match that same year.
Funaki is no Matt Hume...

I don't know. We're around 50% sorta agreement here...So I guess I’m right in line with what the thread is asking for?
